Dr. Slogan is a senior marine biologist, environmental leader, and academic with over 20 years of experience advancing marine biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, and marine spatial planning across Canada and the Pacific. He holds a PhD in fisheries restoration from the University of British Columbia and brings a rare combination of deep technical expertise, strategic insight, and business acumen to delivering sustainable ocean solutions at scale. As a consultant, Jamie has led multidisciplinary teams and managed multimillion-dollar programs for national governments, resource developers, ports, and Indigenous partners, with projects focused on environmental impact assessment, ecosystem restoration, regulatory strategy, and community engagement. Jamie also serves as faculty at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he teaches project management, planning and monitoring, community engagement, and marine restoration, while supervising graduate research on blue carbon policy, kelp restoration, fisheries management, and nature- based coastal resilience.

He is the Founder and Lead Environmental Research Scientist at Oceanic Pacific Services LLC, where he has led multidisciplinary conservation initiatives incorporating ecological fieldwork, geospatial analysis, and advanced data modelling using tools such as R and Python. His experience includes environmental impact assessments, coastal and marine monitoring, and the development of data-driven strategies for sustainable development.
In addition to his consulting work, Stau has an academic background as a PhD researcher in Conservation Biology at Brigham Young University, where he conducted interdisciplinary research on climate, conservation, and human health across Pacific Island contexts. Joses Togase

Joses Togase is a highly experienced project manager and community development practitioner with a strong track record in delivering donor-funded environmental and climate resilience initiatives across the Pacific. As a consultant with GreenWave Pacific, he brings extensive expertise in project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and community-led approaches to sustainable development.
Joses currently serves as Project Manager for the Santo Sunset Environment Network (SSEN) in Vanuatu, where he oversees the design, implementation, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of projects supported by leading international partners. His work spans climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihoods, and gender-inclusive development, with a particular focus on empowering Indigenous communities and strengthening local governance systems.
He has successfully managed and delivered projects funded by major organizations including GEF Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP), FAO, UN Women, UNDP, IUCN BIOPAMA, and DFAT. These initiatives have addressed critical issues such as climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity protection, and the prevention of environmentally destructive practices such as illegal logging.
Joses is recognized for his ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects in remote and challenging environments.
